The HJC RPHA 70 Stipe is a top full-face motorcycle helmet in the sport touring segment. Not only does it have an aggressive design, but it is a much improved helmet compared to the previous model. The outer shell is made of P.I.M, a mix of carbon fiber and fiberglass, a state of the art material, which gives you not only a very high level of protection but also a low weight. It's the same composite that RPHA 11 uses for its track helmets. Much more refined and with a more aggressive look is the "venom" of the sport touring catergory. It comes in three outer shell sizes XS-S, M-L and XL-XXL, and six sizes on the inside. You can choose from XS to XXL.

It's an AIRFLOW helmet, which on hot summer days will provide the ventilation you need with five generous air intakes located on the chin, forehead and back of the helmet. New is the central air intake which now has 3 positions: closed, semi-open and open to adjust your air level more preferentially. This new RPHA 70 model comes with two air intakes on the chin, the bottom one is operated from inside the helmet, while the classic one is closed or opened from the outside. The rear vents are adjustable closed open.

The inner sunglasses are anti-fog treated and are easily operated by a front-back sliding button located on the left side of the helmet. If you want to use the sunglasses simply push the button towards the back. If you don't need them, just push the button forward. Sunglasses help some people concentrate better on the road when the sunlight is very bright. The glasses' operating system is a premium, cable-based system.

The visor has a new locking/unlocking system positioned in the middle. It is easy to operate and squeezes very well on the cheder. On long journeys this can prove very useful as it reduces noise. Thanks to the clamping system it can be taken off very quickly for cleaning or changing. The visor comes with mounting pins for Pinlock, an effective system in bad weather that stops or delays visor fogging.

The premium antibacterial interior is very comfortable, wear-resistant and completely removable, making it very easy to wash. The materials used are "breathable". Meaning even if you don't use a hood and sweat directly into it, it is very ventilated and dries quickly, a very effective system that doesn't leave you with a wet head.

The side sponges are shaped more towards touring, not super sport, which makes them much more comfortable for long rides. You don't want to sit with your cheeks squeezed and pressed and prone to bites during a 12-hour ride. But the best thing about them is that they have the emergency release system. In the event of an accident they can be removed in a second by pulling them out very quickly with red straps, leaving plenty of room for your head to slide out of the helmet. This drastically reduces the chances of neck injury caused by incorrect helmet removal.

The material at the base of the helmet is non-slip, so if you leave your helmet on, the chances of it slipping and falling off are very small.

Another useful thing, the helmet is easy to use if you have glasses. That is, the shape of the inner sponges has been redesigned so that you can put on your glasses without any problem. Other helmets have this advantage too, but HJC have perfected it. How? The material in the area where the goggles slide is very slippery, so you can put on your prescription glasses or sunglasses with ease, without having to fight to the death every time you put them on and take them off.

The RPHA 70 Stipe comes factory equipped with a chin air deflector, which reduces the noise level in the helmet, a very useful feature when you're going on a long trip. It also comes with an air deflector for the nose (your visor will fog up a lot harder because you don't breathe directly on it), plus you get a more "mysterious" look because you can't see your whole face.

On the inside, on the sides, right next to your ears we have two shields that once removed allow us to mount the speakers from an intercom time communication system.
