The Tech-Air® 10 is the latest innovative autonomous airbag that joins the Tech-Air® family of Alpinestars, which includes the airbag electronic systems Tech-Air® Race, Tech-Air® Street, and Tech-Air® 5. Derived from Alpinestars' airbag technology adopted by MotoGP riders, the Tech-Air® 10 is a slim, autonomous airbag system that offers unparalleled body protection for racers, track day riders, and street riders, covering the shoulders, collarbone, chest, and back completely down to the coccyx, as well as the rider's hips.

The Tech-Air® 10 can be worn under any Alpinestars Tech-Air® Ready or Tech-Air® Compatible leather suits or any leather suit from third parties, with 4 cm of space around the chest circumference and 2 cm of space around the hips. The additional space for the chest and hips is necessary to accommodate the airbag's inflation in the event of an accident.

• Developed over many years of research with the best MotoGP riders in the world and Alpinestars customers, data from millions of kilometers and thousands of accidents have been analyzed to continuously improve the intelligent accident detection algorithm.
• The Tech-Air® 10 system is extremely easy to use, you only need to zip up the front and secure the belt to activate the airbag system, and you’re ready to ride. The internal belt automatically activates the system once it is fastened and secured.
• In Race mode, the Tech-Air® 10 system is active only when you are riding at over approximately 60 km/h (37 mph) for at least 10 seconds. Before this activation or when the rider’s speed consistently drops below this speed for at least 10 seconds, the system deactivates. This is the standard behavior of the Tech-Air® 10 Airbag System in Race mode, as it is normal to have situations of quick stops and starts where the rider does not want to deactivate the airbag. In such conditions, it is safer for the airbag to be automatically deactivated by the system to avoid unwanted airbag deployments.
• The remote wireless LED display can be moved to the rider's arm for easy monitoring of the system status. The LED display can also be attached to the motorcycle, depending on the rider's preference.
• The Tech-Air® 10 system takes approximately 4 hours to recharge a depleted battery with the provided USB charger. A fully charged battery will provide approximately 24 hours of use. If time is limited, charging the battery for approximately 1 hour will provide about 6 hours of use.
• The airbag itself is breathable, designed with air channels and a perforated back area that ensures airflow to enhance rider comfort.
• The Tech-Air® 10 system can be quickly attached to the base layer of Alpinestars' Tech-Air® 10 system using easy-to-use side zippers, this allows riders to replace the base layer between riding sessions if desired.
• The Tech-Air® 10 System base layer is hand washable.
• The total weight of the Tech-Air® 10 (system and base layer) is 2,390 g for a medium size.
• The Tech-Air® 10 is designed for use on the track and on the road and can be used in both RACE and STREET modes, which have specific AI accident detection algorithms. The RACE Riding mode should only be used for riding on closed racetracks and not for other types of rides.
• The Bluetooth connection to the Tech-Air® app provides riders with information such as the operational status of the Airbag system, battery status, and data about the MyRide journey.
• Through the Tech-Air® app, users can update the system's firmware when a new accident detection algorithm is released.
