The Ascent jacket from Macna is not a standalone product but is designed to form the electrically heated core over which your motorcycle protective gear can be worn.
The Dual Power technology allows you to choose between a 7.4 or 12-volt power source, which can be a separate battery or a direct connection to the motorcycle. Macna offers different types of batteries and numerous cable options (sold separately) to provide comfortable heat with a single power source for your entire setup. Depending on your choice, the 7.4 or 12-volt battery will last up to a maximum of 4:30 or 3:15 hours. A handy button indicates the battery status and current power level. There are four different intensity levels that can be adjusted by 20% with a single press of the button. Each level is indicated in its own color to easily see if the heat is activated.
The alternative is the Macna Heated App, which allows you to connect the heated gear to your smartphone. The Bluetooth connection enables you to control all products, either separately or simultaneously as a group. You can use a timer, check battery status, and more.
