Revolutionary off-road helmet that sets new standards of safety, ventilation and comfort. Made with the ultra-light KPA, MX470 Subverter features a special MIPS system for added security and to guarantee exceptional protection on impacts. Extended helmet lower edge protects the neck area from hyperextension with and without the use of a neck brace. Extremely efficient ventilation system provides as much as 23 (!) ventilation ports and inner ventilation channels to provide revolutionary effective ventilation. The vents are covered with a honeycomb grid, which also protects against impacts. DOT/ECE approved.
MIPS®System
MX470 Subverter offers enhanced protection with MIPS®System inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS liner. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) greatly reduces impact energy in case of angled impacts, allowing the outer shell and inner MIPS layer to move and rotate against each other in the event of angled head crash (the most common type of impact), absorbing impact energy and minimizing potential brain injury.
